Xbox 360 Price Cut Just Around The Corner
It looks like Microsoft may be breaking down and finally giving us the price cut on the Xbox 360 that we have been waiting months for. Retailers have known about the price cuts and have been preparing for them. However, due to a non-disclosure agreement from Microsoft that keeps them from spreading the word themselves.
The price cuts will apparently be introduced just prior to the key Easter sales period. Across Europe, around 50 Euro will apparently be sliced off retail prices, on March 14th. The cut could make the Arcade model 360 cheaper than the Wii in some countries, while in the UK the Elite would go for around 240 GBP, the Premium 200 GBP.
Microsoft is indeed spicing up the competition. Now we will have to wait and see if Nintendo follows Microsoft’s lead and cuts the price of the Nintendo Wii.
