It seems that the PS3 isn’t the only one to be having problems these days. After a comment that was made by Mark Rein, Vice President of Epic Games, it seems that people are under the impression that the new video game, Unreal Tournament 3 is not something that works well on the Xbox 360.

Rein does acknowledge that the DVD storage on the Xbox 360 is causing some problems, but it’s nothing that can’t be overcome:

“If we exceed size of the 360s optical disc then we’ll have to find alternative ways to get the content to 360 users such as making it downloadable,” said Rein. “Adding a second DVD to a game like UT3 would be a challenge because when playing online you might not know exactly what map you’re going to be playing next and we have to be able to accommodate users of the core system.”

Rein also notes that to get the full experience from most major games on PS3 and Xbox 360 the hard drive is going to be required, and UT3 will be no different. So maybe there is nothing to worry about or maybe there is. Like with most games you can always expect some type of problem, but you won’t know what till you play it.
