Red Mile Entertainment Announces Sequel To ‘Heroes Of The Pacific’

Heroes Over Europe Game StillWhen Heroes of the Pacific was released back in 2005 for the PS2 and the Xbox it became such a great hit. Ever since then we have hoped that they would come out with another game that would be just as great. We were excited to hear that after two years we will be getting what we want. Red Mile Entertainment announced this week that they are creating a sequel called – Heroes Over Europe – and will be making it for the PS3 Xbox 360 and PC.

The game is in development at Transmission Games for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and is powered by an all-new game engine promising cutting-edge visuals. The game will revisit the action in the key European air battles of WWII and follows the story of three allied pilots and their actions in the war. This includes the invasion of France and the devastation of Berlin in 1945.

“‘Heroes of the Pacific’ established Red Mile as a leading publisher in the air combat genre,” said Glenn Wong, President and Chief Operating Officer of Red Mile Entertainment. “Transmission Games is building on the excellent groundwork it laid with the first game, and based on what we’ve seen so far, it looks set to deliver a truly stunning follow-up that will thrill armchair pilots everywhere.”

The game will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 later next year. The PC version will be released not long after in early of 2009.
