Playstation 3 Brings Us DualShock Rumbling Controller
Sony is ready to make some noise and some movement by releasing their brand new DualShock wireless controllers. Yes, DualShock means that these babies rumble. Confused? We were when we first heard the news. After all a few months ago Harrison informed us that there would definitely not be rumbling controllers to look forward to(such a tease).
The company had previously stated that engineers were having a hard time implementing a rumble feature into their motion-sensing controller, although engineering was not the only problem the company had with Dual-shock 3.
The Playstation 3 DualShock Wireless Controller is coming as a standalone accessory in November to Japan and spring 2008 to North America and Europe. Sony’s game division head Kaz Hirai also promised to work closer with developers, and hold advisory board meetings to give feedback to aid in the creation process. He said that Sony would be more receptive to ideas from both developers and fans, which is why the company is re-introducing rumble into their next-generation controller.
We are glad to see that Sony is taking steps to make us happy and giving us what we want. We give a thumbs up to Sony and wish them luck with their new venture!
