Ninja Reflex Coming To Wii
Nunchuck and EA games have banded together to create yet another party game for both the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS. The goal of Ninja Reflex is to test gamers on their martial art abilities to see if they can earn their black belt and become Sensei over everyone.
The game uses a series of martial arts challenges to test gamers’ reflexes as well as measure their response times with millisecond precision. Not only that will gamers work for their black belt – but they will also be able to contend for ninja supremacy against their friends in multiplayer battles with up to four players.
Vice President and the General Manager for EA games – David DeMartini gave us an insight on the creation of the game:
“Ninja Reflex trains players to be better gamers by sharpening their speed and skill, and is exactly the kind of exceptional notion and creative design that EAP helps bring to market on a global stage. EA Partners brings the same publishing resources to bear for up-and-coming partners like Nunchuck Games as it does for renowned teams like Valve and Harmonix, helping advance the independent game development community by giving studios of all sizes a chance to publish their games around the world.”
Electronic Arts did not mention connectivity between the Wii and DS versions of Ninja Reflex. It is unknown if the game will utilize WiiConnect24 or the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. The game should be finished and ready for release sometime next year. Until than we will brush up on our real life ninja skills and make sure that they are up to par.
