New Space Theme Visualizer Will Wow PS3 Owners
Playstation’s new 2.1 firmware update was full of several upgrades – but none was more desirable and cooler than the brand new music visualizer. It isn’t often that we decide to just sit down and listen to our music on the PS3 and just stare at the screen. Usually the visualizers are bright and can annoy the heck out of us.
This new music visualizer has been given a space theme and will make you want to stare at it for hours. It lets you see the motion of music in a whole new way. Perhaps the days of the American public being obsessed with space travel are long gone, but that doesn’t mean the great black beyond isn’t beautiful and mysterious.
This new tool was created by Q-Games and PR manager Duncan Flett said it actually enjoyed an initial stint as the boot sequence for the PS3. It seems that the gorgeous texture data came from the NASA Blue Marble project. It’s time to blend music with the vastness of space.

also… the picture you have is not representative of the actual PS3 visualizer. the real visualizer just shows a rotating earth, at different zooms, with random white dot stars, with a sunlight shadow.
it *does not* show the sun, moor or a milky way background.

the 360 visualizer allows up to four people to manipulate it, movement via each controller modifies a different aspect of the display. this is a revolutionary effect, and a lot of fun.
the ps3 has not such ability… thus the 360 visualizer fucks all over the lamers ps3 (which stands for “pile-shit-3″) visualizer.
in essence, the 360 rocks, the ps3 is a pile of shit

Xbox360 beats the PS3 for two very simple reasons. Firstly, it’s the far superior online gaming service. And secondly, it’s Xbox’s trump card… Gamerpoints. The single most addictive aspect of Xbox360 gaming.
These two reasons are why I only by PS3 exclusive games on PS3, anything else I get for the xbox just because I personally, think gamerpoints are awesome and prefer the gaming experience Xbox Live provides.
Don’t hate, thats just my personal opinions.

What’s funny, is the the PS3 owners “try” to bash the Xbox 360, and they say Halo blows etc. But the cannot list any triple A exclusives that we should buy a PS3 for.
The PS3 is a great piece of hardware, and a damn fine Blueray player with top nothc LPCM audio etc.
But for games, the 360 is way ahead of PS3 right now. Sony may get some good titles in the future, but the PS3 doesn’t look any better, and the online experience is worse.
Most of us could buy all consoles. I have them all, except the PS3, as there just isn’t anything to buy it for. No games. And I have not decided HD DVD or Blueray yet.
The PS3 has alot of promise, but the 360 is delivering today.

Although not an exclusive we got a way better version of Stranglehold due to the capacity of the blue disc, Wireless guitar action on Rockband, free online and it does work very sweet not like xboxers claim, psp connectivity allows playing PS Network games as well as PS1 titles as well as full access to all my media no matter where I am, everyday shooter as well as other awesome 5 dollar downloadable games rocks.
I can play the so called XBOX exclusives on my PC such as Gears and Bioshock etc. So enjoy your system for what it’s worth and I will enjoy mine. I still have Metal Gear Solid, Tekken 6 and Final Fantasy and many others just around the corner, but while I wait I think I’ll indulge in some more UT3 cuz it is by far the best online Multiplayer right now. Except for Quake Wars on the PC, which is also super sweet.
It’s all about the games but when the hardware rocks as well it’s just that much better.

I cant wait to hear all you xbox fanboys in about a year or so. When all the best games coming out(FFXIII,KILLZONE2,ETC) come out for PS3 and 360 cant play them because its not powerful enough. All this fighting is crap guys. I have all 3 next gen systems. Each has its merits and drawbacks.
The PS3 is much faster than the 360 (it really isn’t even close on some games). I’m not sure why the major gaming sites say its close except maybe a lame attempt to increase traffic thru bickering. The only other intangible area where the PS3 exceeds is how they’ve brought some intriguing content to the system. They will hopefully get developers to do more with the sixaxis controller. Can’t wait to get a Dualshock3 controller.
The 360 has a huge lead in games as well as a far superior user interface and online community experience. Sony really f’d up here…there is no sense of community and an utterly stupid interface (why do I have to do a download and then go back and install a game?!). It’s super easy to connect with friends and play on the 360. Granted it’s taken them a few years to get there, so who knows what the younger PS3 will show in 2008. Sony Home looks somewhat interesting. I’m just not overly excited about a Second Life ripoff as the base for a community portal.
And then there is the Wii which most people chalk up as a novelty (one that outsells every other platform). Where the Wii misses in processor power it more than makes up in ingenuity and fun. When friends come over, they want to play the Wii…not the 360 and not the PS3. Look out for Nintendo when they come out with a Wii with a true next gen chip. They think they can’t keep up with demand now.

Am sure broadband is faster in USA then UK. am currently using 10mb cable broadband, at it works fine, especially when playing online compare to the 2mb i had.
first the 360, then the 360 elite, and then the arcade version,,wtf is wrong with MS?? why are they trying to flood the market with cheaper faulty systems??. 30% of all 360s failed, where as the ps3 has less then 1% failure chances.
If you want a quality product that does not need repairs then get the ps3. If you dont mind your console showing red lights and needing repairs then the 360 is for you! simple init ??
