More Rumors On MGS4 Xbox Release
Metal Gear Solid 4 seems to be the game of the year. Unfortunately it is only for PS3 owners. Or is it? That has been the question ever since rumors started flying around the net that an xBox 360 version of the game would be released in a couple of months. But for once the rumors aren’t true, no matter how much we really want them to be. HMV didn’t manage to get that memo.
The website for UK game retailer HMV got 360 owners’ hopes up when it listed a pre-order for the Xbox version of Metal Gear Solid 4 over the weekend. HMV has since said, “Oops”. Apparently he was mis-understood or he just didn’t type out the message right. Here is what the site had to say about it.
“In his enthusiasm, one of our online games team indicated that hmv.co.uk would start taking pre-orders for MGS4 on Xbox 360, when, in fact, he simply meant to ask customers if they wished to receive an alert in the event of this title one day coming out on this platform.”
So now that yet another rumor has been crushed all you xBox owners are gonna just have to keep wishing and praying that they eventually decide to make one for you. If they do decide this you can bet that it will be awhile because they will obviously have to wait a few months after the PS3 release.
