Midway Games Creates ‘Myst’ For Nintendo DS
Remember when you used to play games on your computers because well – there really wasn’t much else to play on – or everything else was just too expensive(now only the new ones are overly expensive)?
One of the most intriguing games that anyone can remember playing was Myst. For those of you who don’t know what this game is I’ll try to explain it for you. Myst is a completely thinking game. If you aren’t smart than I wouldn’t bother even trying to play it. Honestly, I could never play it on my own.
In the game you are a man who is bouncing from different worlds that were created by this one man who is trapped in one of them and is unable to get out. The way you jump through worlds – you enter their different books. While you are in each world you have to do important tasks that this man has asked you to do.
Interested? Good. Because for all of you who prefer the game stations to the computer I have great news! Midway Games has decided to create Myst for the Nintendo DS. Leonie Manshanden is the European Marketing Director of Midway Games Ltd. He comments, “Myst lends itself well to portable formats, as we saw from the PSP release. The DS will add an extra dimension using the touch screen, and the game matches this handheld’s expanding demographic perfectly.”
Now all of you true state-of-the-art gamers can experience the fun of Myst for yourself. Hopefully we will be seeing more and more computer games being formatted for the different gaming systems. Maybe, just maybe then I’ll upgrade from the computer.
