Happy 5 Years Xbox Live!
What started off as a community of only a handful people grew into a community of 8 million people in over 26 countries. Microsoft understands that you the user of Xbox Live have made it what it is today - “the king of the online arena” – and are celebrating its 5 year mark in style.
“In just five short years, Xbox LIVE has revolutionized the way friends and family have fun in the living room,” said John Schappert, corporate vice president of LIVE, software and services at Microsoft. “On its fifth birthday, Xbox LIVE truly is the place for hanging out with friends and enjoying downloadable TV shows, movies, videos, game add-ons and now downloadable Xbox games on demand.”
They are offering all of you faithful users the chance to download the Xbox Live Arcade game – Hexic 2 (only available in Korea) and Carcassonne (available in all countries). The window for downloading begins November 15th at 12:01 a.m. PST and ends November 16th at 11:59 p.m. PST. All of you senior members who have been a member since 2002 will get an added bonus and will receive 500 free Microsoft Points in his/her account.
