Father Recieves $9,000 Christmas Gift By Selling ‘Guitar Hero III’

Guitar Hero III Game StillYou may have a hard time getting your hands on the new Guitar Hero III video game this Christmas. It has become such a popular game that every kid is hoping that Santa will drop it off during his usual runs. Of course the parents that worked so hard to get their hands on a copy may be thinking twice after hearing about his parents tale.

A father wanted to get his 15 year old son the perfect Christmas gift so he searched high and low for a copy of Guitar Hero III for his son’s Nintendo Wii. Finally he came across one only to find that his son has been behaving very badly on his off time. “So I was so relieved in that I had finally got the Holy Grail of Christmas presents pretty much just in the nick of time. I couldn’t wait to spread the jubilance to my son,” said the father. “Then, yesterday, I came home from work early and what do I find? My innocent little boy smoking pot in the back yard with two of his delinquent friends.”

As punishment the father auctioned the game up on eBay hoping to make back the $90. What he didn’t expect was for a man from Australia to purchase it for a total of $9,100! It looks like the father’s Christmas gift came early.

In the spirit of Christmas the father did say he would still offer his son a Christmas gift. “I am still considering getting him a game for his Nintendo. Maybe something like Barbie as the Island Princess or Dancing with the Stars … I know he will just love them,” the father said.

I wonder right now how many of us are contemplating going out to buy one and than to re-sell it on eBay. Unfortunately I think that this was a rare and lucky occasion for this man. Kind of like winning the lottery.
