Dell Soon To Unleash ‘The Beast’

Dell XPS 1730Dell has created a laptop exclusively for gamers and we are happy to inform you that it is one of a kind(at least for now)and it is gonna be great. Of course when something is called ‘The Beast’ its bound to have some technological advances that makes one stand up and take notice.

Ok so its official name is XPS 1730, but I think everyone agrees that ‘The Beast’ is a much better name for it. This high end gaming laptop is a perfect mix of Ageia Phys Mobile Technology, which is used for realistic in-game objects interaction, and the use of Logitech’s GamePanel LCD. GamePanel allow gamers to view their stats, create new macros and track important system information without ever leaving the game.

‘The Beast’ allows you to see everything on a 17” screen with 1920×1200 resolution making it even more perfect for game playing. It runs on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7500 2.20GHz, 4MB cache, 800MHz processor system bus) or Intel Core 2 Duo X7900 (2.80GHz) and comes equipped with 2GB of dual-channel PC2-5300 (667MHz) memory, two Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT graphics processing units with 256MB of memory for each, 200GB hard disk drive with 7200rpm motors, 802.11a/g/n network controller, Bluetooth 2.0 module, embedded webcam and microphone.

Multiplayer gaming addicts will probably find useful the inclusion of an optional built-in mobile broadband module, which allows them to freely switch between carriers like AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless, but also between Wi-Fi networks and even Wireless-N. Systems also include a built-in Web camera and digital array microphone.

Are you keeping up with us? I know there are so many features that it is making our heads spin too. This seems to good to be true and is having us worried that there must be a flaw somewhere. But then again this is Dell not Microsoft and so far it is perfect in every way.

The laptop will be going on sale later in the year just in time for the holiday season and will be starting at $2,999. Ok so the price might be a little bit of a problem, but with all those features you have to admit that its worth it. ‘The Beast’ is going to revolutionize the PC gaming world and bring it to a whole new level.
