Conflict: Denied Ops Set To Be Released In 2008
Conflict: Denied Ops is the fifth game in the Conflict series that is set in today’s volatile political climate, which focuses on two covert field operatives, experts in weapons and military tactics. This two player game allows players to switch seamlessly, at any point in the game and offers cooperative gameplay.
Featuring cooperative gameplay and highly destructible environments, Conflict: Denied Ops focuses on so-called “deniable operatives,” special forces soldiers who do the government’s arm’s-length dirty work. According to an Eidos news release, the game’s characters are ruthless, merciless, and brutal.
“We are taking the Conflict series in a new direction, making it more explosive and mature,” said Robert Lindsey, executive vice president of sales and marketing with Eidos. “Conflict: Denied Ops delivers large-scale Hollywood style action sequences in real-world political hot spots, sure to appease fans of the FPS genre.”
Making full use of Pivotal’s new Puncture Technology, the game features a highly destructible environment, allowing players to shoot through walls to create sniping holes or blast through walls to take the enemy by surprise.
Taking place in politically sensitive areas across South America, Africa and Russia, Conflict: Denied Ops features an intuitive command system, non-stop action and Hollywood-esque explosive moments throughout.
This shoot ‘em up game will be released early in 2008 and will be available for all Xbox 360, Playstation, and PC gamers. You can be sure that we will have a review for everyone once the game has been released.
