Mario is a game that has been around for years and years. Eventually we assumed that it would fade out – but Nintendo keeps finding a way to recycle it back into the industry and in the process make it bigger and better than before. In fact Nintendo is taking advantage of the Wii’s motion sensor controls and has created Mario Kart on a whole new level.

Nintendo has come out with another successful venture called the Wii Fit. In this new game players will improve their fitness, balance, and strength using a pressure sensitive balance board. With this board they will be able to play virtual football and imitate different yoga positions.
Nintendo has already pre-sold close to 60,000 copies of the game and staying true to its reputation they have already put themselves in a bind by running out of stock. Now they have ceased taking orders.

Nintendo crushed the most recent rumor that has been circulating the internet for some time now concerning their DS. We were all hoping to see a new design that would improve upon Nintendo’s DS – which we were hoping to see at the E3 expo in July. Our expectations were not unfounded. Nintendo Wii has been granted the use of BBC’s Video on Demand service – iPlayer – which they can use through the Opera Internet Browser. It is not yet completed updated with all of the extra features – but they have promised that the new version will be coming shortly. The Wii has given gamers another way to watch their favorite programs through the ever so popular iPlayer.
It is not surprising that the BBC has chosen the Nintendo Wii (rather than the Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3) to deploy the iPlayer given Microsoft and Sony’s reluctance to reduce their stranglehold on whatever content goes into their gaming console.

When Tales of Symphonia first came out in 2003 on the Gamecube it became a successful game. It was one of the few game series from Bandai Namco that took off. Many people are excited to hear that they will be releasing a sequel to the game for the Nintendo Wii. Unfortunately though we have no idea exactly when that release will be.
