PlayStation has launched their brand new service this week – Live Channel. The news and weather service allows you to view what is going on right at that moment in time and what kind of weather you are going to have in your area right there on your PS3 console. You have the ability to pull info from the Weather Channel, Earth Television Network, and Google news. Live Channel can obtain information from at least 60 cities from around the world. The best part about this service is that it is absolutely free – as long as you have a PS3 console of course.

We just can’t help but be excited about the newly released demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and it looks as if most people agree with us. LucasArts bragged today that the demo was able to break all of the previous download records for Xbox Live.
They stated that during the first eight days that it was released the demo received over a million downloads.
