Cake Mania Becoming Addictive
Those of you who don’t get bored at work sitting at your desk raise your hands. So we are all in agreement that working at a boring desk job is tiresome and extremely boring. So what do you do to pass the time. You could be like me and just play games on the internet. I don’t know where most people go, but I love to play MSN games. One of the coolest games was called Cake Mania and I’m sure you can find it anywhere on the internet by now.
You have to admit that it is an addictive game(even if it is a little girly). The adrenaline of running around trying to cook 3 different cakes at one time and keeping all of your customers happy can get quite overwhelming. When you get through each level you find yourself proud of your work and can’t help, but continue to the next level.
The actual reason for the game plays a minimal role in the game. It doesn’t matter why you’re making cakes(so you don’t have to sit through the storyline), only that are you and you want to do it right. Each month (game time this is one level) you’ll be given a monthly goal to meet. Along the way you’ll make upgrades to your equipment and encounter new characters that present new challenges. Cupid likes to show up in February, is very impatient, and makes everyone else in the store feel the same way.
The superbly designed interface makes those cakes look yummy. As you progress through the levels, you get more customers and the game gets more frantic. The early levels are easy and great practice in preparing you for the advanced levels.
Still not convinced? Download the demo game and find out for yourself just how fun and addicting this game can actually be. Hey it’ll even make you want to go out and bake a cake. Or at least to buy one and take credit for it. ![]()
