Bioshock On Xbox 360

Bioshock GameThe brand new first shooter game, Bioshock, is a great game to play on your Xbox 360. There were doubts that it would be a boring game because it is only a first shooter, but between the graphics and the plot it keeps you begging for more.

Tthe primary focus of the game is how the story has so much focus on it. The story is like a sci-fi mystery, which has a retro but futuristic feel to it, if you know what I mean.

The game does start off with a bang, but not an explosive bang but more of an emotional one. Once you start playing the game you will want to explore every angle so that you can unravel the mystery. The atmosphere is just amazing as well as the visual design. Bioshock allows you to fully customize your character, and the voice cast is just awesome.

There are very few problems with this game, except for the fact that it occasionly freezes up(like most games do)but not to a point that you get completely angry at it and want to throw it out the window!

Some people have been having problems with games freezing up on them, but it is not a common occurence.

I don’t beleive that it has anything to do with your TV, but as to the real problem it is hard to say. You could always have someone check out the console to make sure that it is reading the discs right or you could try cleaning off your discs before you play.

    Hope it works!

Whenever I play Bioshock on my 360 it eventually freezes up. Sometimes this happens immediately when I launch the console game and sometimes it happens after an hour or more of game play. It’s frustrating because no matter if you save your current progress, it will still be lost when the console freezes. Anyone know what this means? Am I going to have to send my 360 in to Microsoft to fix? Thanks for all comments in advance.

I’m a long time owner of the 360 and haven’t had any issues until I purchased Bioshock. I played through the first couple of levels w/o any problems - then it started freezing. Freezing every hour at first and now every couple of seconds. The game is not playable. I’ve cleared the cache using the paddle trick before the intro movie plays. I’ve deleted the save game and started over. I’ve even deleted the sytem cache on the system blade on the dashboard. Now the freezing has spread to Rainbow 6 Vegas, Tiger Woods 07, and Halo 3. The console can’t run for more than 10 minutes without freezing. Also, I’ve never gotten the red ring of death error. When my system freezes - the screen freezes and the console locks and that’s it. I’ve spoken to Microsoft tech support on several occasions. They are completely inept - it was extremely difficult for me not to hang up on them. I’d rather purchase a Playstation 3 at this point then pay Microsoft $100 to fix their faulty hardware.

    Interesting thing happened to me.

My situation was similar to hamburglar. My 360 first started freezing in RB6 Vegas. Then it spread to my other games such as Madden and Gears of War. I deleted the cache and my RB6 weapons profile (suggested on another board), but the machine just kept freezing. Then for some reason I decided to use another 360 controller…it hasn’t froze for about 3 hours. Maybe it’s a fluke, and I don’t know why a controller would cause the 360 to freeze. If anybody had a similar experience or knows what’s going on here, please chime in. Thanks.

You know i have had my Xbox 360 since May 2006. Then i bought Deadrising. Now my system has been freezing for a long time. It spreaded to my other games. I havn’t bought bioshock…yet. But if its freezing then i don’t know if i wanna waste anymore money then what i have so far. Im planning on buying a new Xbox 360. Before i buy a new one im going to send mine in. Does anyone know where i can send it into? When I plug my internet cord in and log onto Xbox Live the games work longer. But when i unplug the cord they freeze up fast. I believe i might have bought the 360 when all the bugs were out. I recently recieved skate and i love it. Except for how when i play for awhile it starts to glitch and graphics start messing up. I figured out that this is being caused by overheating. Im also planning on buying one of those coolong packs you can put on the back. I read that the new 360’s that were relesed in July 2007 have cooling fans built in to the the system. Can anyone help me? I need to know what i should do about my problems. Thank you!!

FYI, my machine ended up with the red ring of death. I sent it in and MS sent me a replacement unit. I guess my controller theory was wrong.

Hey YY. Since you sent your system in for repair, can you now play the games that used to freeze without a problem?

Iv had a similar problem. My friend came over and used his copy of bioshock on my console. Needless to say, it froze. Now i cant even start up the console i’ve got 3 red lights and even if it does start all i get is a black screen with white dashes coming down like matrix style.Since this is clearly a MS issue do they replace/repair for free?
