Xbox 360 owners are not the only ones who will be getting a small treat this year when they are given the chance to download content for Grand Theft Auto IV. PS3 owners will also be getting the chance to download content for Bioshock. Bioshock is being released a whole year later then what was planned.

The special ‘Challenge Rooms’ will be revealed only three days after the game is released (on October 24th) in the form of a special DLC. It will also “supplement a new difficulty Survivor difficulty mode and Trophy support.” But that isn’t the best part. We have it on god authority that this special treatment will be exclusive to the PS3 version of the game.

“Right now we are supporting the PS3 launch. We are really excited to be bringing the BioShock experience to a whole new set of fans. We’ve been concentrating on ways to make this game special. The things that we’ve added, they’re not changing the original experience that the 360 fans and the PC fans got, but are things that compliment nicely that experience.” – Senior Producer Melissa Miller.
