When Super Smash Brothers Brawl was released most gamers were skeptical about it. They weren’t sure that it would live up to the other games before it. Nintendo is making sure that this game lives up to all the expectations on it. They are giving it the normal features that we can expect from the game plus they are adding on a brand new feature that will have everyone playing it for hours on end.

The UK has been waiting patiently for the release of the new Lara Croft game – Crystal Dynamics. However - the creator of the game – Eidos – has stated that the Wii conversion of the game is set to be released November 13th in the U.S.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary has already been released on PC and PS2, winning over the critics and reviving the series’ fortunes. Anniversary is also set for release on the PSP this week. The game will also be released on Xbox Live Marketplace in four, 600 Microsoft-point chunks for owners of Tomb Raider: Legend to download as an alternative to buying the boxed version, although exact timing for that has yet to be set.

Gears of War is a popular game for Xbox gamers – but Epic Games is making it more exciting for PC gamers by offering them a gold edition of the game. The game is set to be released in the U.S. November 6th and in the UK November 9th.

The game is similar to the one played on Xbox except with more features and games. The PC version of GoW will offer five new campaigns and three PC only multiplayer maps, along with a King of the Hill mode.

Who says that it has to be all about Halo? The Valve Corporation – creators of Half-Life - know a trend when they see one and are jumping the band wagon by creating a deal that will attract more than their share of newly converted Xbox gamers – and maybe even a few older ones.

This new package they have for people is not only something that everyone will love – but it is also a great deal for what you get. This package, named “The Orange Box,” contains Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One and the newly released Half-Life 2: Episode Two, as well as two of the Valve Corporations previous games, Portal and Team Fortress 2.

Xbox is still celebrating its victory over the Wii with its newest Halo 3 release – but don’t think for a second that this is the only good game that we were looking forward to. We’ve compiled a list of some of the hottest titles that we can expect to see from Xbox over the coming months:
