Halo 3 Set To Go On Sale For Midnight Release!

Halo 3 Game StillHalo 3 hasn’t even been released yet and Microsoft is already going to be putting it on sale for its midnight release tonight. Those of you who took the time to pre-order it are going to be quite upset at the fact that you had to pay full price. There are spculations as to why Microsoft is taking this route. Most likely they are afraid that some will for go the new game. They are going  make sure that everyone gets a copy and that their sales are secured.



Cake Mania Becoming Addictive

Cake Mania PC CoverThose of you who don’t get bored at work sitting at your desk raise your hands. So we are all in agreement that working at a boring desk job is tiresome and extremely boring. So what do you do to pass the time. You could be like me and just play games on the internet. I don’t know where most people go, but I love to play MSN games. One of the coolest games was called Cake Mania and I’m sure you can find it anywhere on the internet by now.



PSP Overtakes Nintendo DS…Finally!

Nintendo DS Next To PSPJapan is one of the top countries when it comes to technology(we all know America is the top dog!). For awhile it seemed like theyvoted for Nintendo along with the rest of us. That was until last week when they switched teams over to Sony.

Nintendo lost some ground in Japan with their Nintendo DS as the Sony PlayStation Portable managed to outsell the DS last week. There has been a huge leap in the sales of over 79,923 units to a total of 95,487, all credited to the launch of the PSP Slim and Lite and the release of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. However, it is not known how many of the consoles were the original PSPs or the Slim and Lite ones.



Playstation Home Delayed Till Spring

PS HomeThose of you who were looking forward to connecting to the new Playstation Home virtual world service, an online 3-D virtual world that will double as a social network and gaming site for Sony, are going to have to wait. Not a few days or weeks, but a few months. New PS Home has been delayed till spring of next year due to normal problems that come up when you try to launch something of this magnitude.



Microsoft Relying On Halo 3 To Boost Xbox Sales

Halo 3 Game CoverThe much anticipated Halo 3 is hitting stores Tuesday the 24th. Already hundreds of copies have been ordered showing us just how excited people are to play this newest installment of the Halo series. But they aren’t the only ones who are looking forward to this. Microsoft is hoping that the new game will help boost Xbox sales.

This is a make-or-break year for the Xbox business. It has lost roughly $5 billion since Microsoft entered the video game console business in 2001 as a way to stem the rise of Sony Corp’s PlayStation game console. Microsoft projects first-day sales of the game to eclipse the $125 million mark set by its predecessor, saying it will be the biggest opening for any entertainment product ever.
