Shooting Through The ‘Haze’

Haze Game StillUbisoft is on a roll. We just can’t get enough of the games that they are creating, but this time we are going to give you a sneak peek into the first-shooter game, Haze. It shares some characteristics of other first-shooter games, but is unique in its own way.

The single player demo put us in the role of Shane Carpenter, a trooper who works for a private military corporation Mantel. The action begins with a frantic and intense gun battle against the rebels through a thick Jungle environment, with bullets whizzing in all directions and explosions going off all around you. Armed with an assault rifle and some doses of Nectar, you make your way, with speed, through the jungle taking at any enemies in your path.

When the Xbox 360 debuted in November of 2005, HDMI output was a consumer-ready technology, but it hadn’t yet achieved the must-have status it enjoys in today’s HDTV-centric home entertainment world. Soon, however, the Xbox 360 drew much criticism for its lack of HDMI, maxing out instead at either component video or VGA, and digital optical audio.

Playstation Still Dragging In Console War

Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, PS3Sony is doing everything in its power to make the PS3 and PSP more attractive to gamers. They are promoting the new features that are being added and making them look much more attractive and of course slimmer.

And it seemed to be working. Sony’s spirits were lifted when they noticed an increase in sales. But was it enough?

US sales for the Playstation 3 rose dramatically last month following a 100-dollar price cut, according to sales figures released Friday by research firm NPD. But the Sony-made gaming console still lags behind both the Nintendo Wii and Microsoft’s Xbox 360.
