Sony’s New White PS2 Takes After Wii

Sony White PS2Nintendo is still at the top of the console list and is breaking records and making Sony and Xbox look bad. Xbox has been taking action to try and fix this, but up until now Sony hasn’t done anything. Now they have decided that if you can’t beat them, than you might as well join them.

Sony plans to launch a Nintendo Wii-esque looking PlayStation 2 (PS2), shipping the product with a karaoke game, two mics and white controller for only $150 in the US. The limited edition ‘Ceramic White’ PS2, bundled with SingStar Pop, will launch in November as Sony attempts to boost sales of its new usurped PlayStation.



Join Operation Live Jump

Medal Of Honor Game StillHalo 3 might be the most anticipated game of the year for the Xbox 360, but that isn’t the only game that people are looking forward to. Medal of Honor Airborne is preparing to show itself to Xbox gamers everywhere.

Electronic Arts Inc. announced that it will host Operation Live Jump, a weekend of online activities on the Xbox Live network, for the title Medal of Honor Airborne for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360. Medal of Honor Airborne will be released to U.S. retail for $59.99. Medal of Honor Airborne is set to redefine the series and will change the way shooters are played.



Look For Gran Turismo 5 Prologue At End Of Year

Gran Turismo CoverNow that we have brought good news to PC gamers it is time to bring the good news to all the PS3 owners out there. PS3 gamers know that the msot famous racing games(for their console)is the Gran Turismo series.

According to Gamespot, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue will be released later this year and will be free to everyone with an online PS3. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for Sony PS3 features over 40 cars including vehicles by Lotus, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Ferrari, along with Mustangs, Camaros, other cool cars and supercars for you to race.



Crysis Demo Coming Soon

Crysis Game CoverGet ready all you nerdy PC gamers because the game of the year(for you guys)is getting ready to release their first demo. The Crysis demo will be released September 25th, the same day as Halo 3’s release to stores. Don’t worry though, we don’t think that the reign of Halo will be disturbed. After all they are for two different systems.

For September 25, “gamers can mark a big circle” in their calendars, since in 30 days they’ll be able to get their hands on the first level of the game, called “Contact”. Crytek raised the stakes and also promised a “huge surprise” for all fans, but we’ll have to wait until September 25 to see what’s it all about.



Nintendo Takes Home The Prize

Nintendo WiiNintendo Wii is enjoying the limelight and everything that comes with it. Not only is it enjoying all the upward sales that it is getting, but now it is enjoying the many awards that it has worked so hard to get.

The jury at last week’s Games Conference in Leipzig, Germany, considered over 85 software and hardware submissions from the show to decide which efforts came out on top in each of the 10 categories. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and Eye Training picked up awards in the Best of Wii and Best of DS categories respectively, but the Big N also scooped a gong for one of their newest innovations.
